The boss behind the brushes
No one cared what brushes I used. Except me.
A dozen hand-built brushes you'll actually use, instead of hundreds you won't.
I've drawn for as long as I can remember. Pencils, charcoal, crayons, paint. When I found Procreate in 2011, there was no going back. But the stock brushes never felt like my real tools, so I started building my own. A set of pencils first. I never looked back.
Then I noticed a problem. Brush packs kept selling me hundreds of brushes. I'd spend hours scrolling and test-driving them, and end up using the same five. Those were hours I wasn't drawing.
So I went the other way. Each pack has about a dozen brushes I've built, tested, cut, rebuilt and tested again, until every one earns its spot. Any of them could be your new favorite.
I still use them every day. When I find a way to make one better, you get the update free, for life.
And remember, it's not the brush, it's how you use it. Mine or the stock set, pick them up and learn them. If they're mine, I hope you love them as much as I love making them.

How to install.
Works in Procreate 5 and up on iPad. Not for Photoshop.
- Open your Gumroad receipt on your iPad and download the file in Safari.
- Tap the Downloads arrow in Safari's toolbar, then tap your file.
- Got a .zip? It opens into a folder. Tap the .brushset inside. Procreate opens with your new set at the top of the Brush Library.
- Didn't open? In Procreate, tap the brush icon, then +, then Import, and choose the .brushset from Files.
Extras: color palettes and coloring pages install the same way, just tap the file. Paper textures are images; in any canvas, tap Actions, then Add, then Insert a photo.
